In the Peniscola area there are some routes from easy to hard. We started to follow one of the easy routes with some easy climbs but at a certain point it changed from road to gravel. With our hybrid (nor city nor race) bikes we didn’t want to go there so we decided to follow our own route. We biked from Pensicola to Benicarlo and back with some breaks. It was an easy ride along the coast and we walked through the castle at Peniscola before we headed to Benicarlo. Approximately 30K for the sunny day.
